Booking Conditions

A 25% deposit is required as confirmation of booking. Should the booking be made within 6 weeks of the arrival date then full payment is due at the time of booking. In the event that this is not received within the period advised then we reserve the right to cancel the booking and re-let the property.

 

The balance of payment must be made 6 clear weeks before arrival date.

 

We welcome bookings of 7 nights or more depending on availability and consider shorter periods.

 

We strongly recommend that you take out general holiday / travel insurance before or at the time of booking to cover you for loss for circumstances beyond yours and/or our control. We cannot refund either deposits or full payments (although we are prepared in some circumstances to do so if we can re-let the relevant period.) We suggest that you ensure that the policy you choose covers all travel delay including delay or cancellation caused by adverse weather conditions.

 

There maybe circumstances that are beyond our control and/or contemplation in which the property booked may not be available. Examples include (but are not limited to) destruction or severe damage to the property. In these circumstances we will do our best to assist with making alternative arrangements where possible. If we cannot do so, or if the alternative arrangements are not acceptable to you, then we will refund all money paid. This will be the full extent of our liability to you in such circumstances and we will not be responsible for any other costs connected with any such cancellation howsoever arising.

 

Please note that you are liable for any damage or breakages during your stay.

 

Our insurances do not cover your personal belongings and we do not accept any responsibility for any loss.

 

Bookings are entered into on the understanding that the proprietors and/or their agents shall not be liable to any person for loss of or damage to property, howsoever caused or sustained.

 

In the interest of health and hygiene smoking is not permitted in our cottages or suites.

 

We regret that we are not able to accept pets.
